Ammonium sulphate (AS)

To optimize the application dosage and method of application to plants in soil, Ammonium Sulfate is a very good source of this element and is easy to mix and use. The ammonium form is generally rapidly assimilated by plants, but can become phytotoxic for the plant in large volumes. In fact, its use in hydroponics is limited to a maximum of 15-20% of the total Nitrogen fraction, with the remaining 80-85% being Nitric Nitrogen.
